Cambodia 2014

S.E.L.F. traveled to Cambodia in 2014 to refurbish and transform a court at Anjali House into a multi-sports court for youth to play basketball, volleyball and soccer. The Sports Education Leadership Foundation also added a netted-roof to the court to protect it from summer rain and monsoons. Anjali House, an organization that keeps children off the streets in Siem Reap, provides children a safe place to get an education, a meal, and participate in sports. While there, The Sports Education Leadership Foundation provided daily sports lessons in soccer, volleyball, kickball, basketball, yoga, dance and cooperative games and donated sports equipment. Recognizing a need and a way to thank Anjali House for their hospitality, we purchased new and colorful flip flop sandals for all the children and staff at Anjali.
