In S.E.L.F.’s first trip to Bangladesh, participants taught basketball and yoga at BKSP. S.E.L.F. traveled to the local villages and donated soccer equipment which provided youth, especially girls, the opportunity to play soccer. In subsequent years, we learn that those youth are now qualifying for soccer tournaments in Dhaka and are ever so thankful to S.E.L.F. for providing the soccer equipment and opportunities for the village children-both boys and girls to play.
The Sports Education Leadership Foundation traveled to Bangladesh in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014. While there, S.E.L.F. participants coached basketball and yoga at BKSP (Bangladesh National Institute of Sport) and traveled to villages to coach and distribute soccer and volleyball equipment to the children.
