The S.E.L.F. Project traveled to Ethiopia and built and refurbished basketball and volleyball courts in Dire Dawa, donated sports equipment and taught volleyball, basketball, soccer, kickball, yoga and dance to the children at schools, villages, and our favorite spot, a girls’ orphanage. S.E.L.F. also traveled to the Omo Valley and visited different tribes: Hamer, Mursi, Dorze, and Tsemay. Along the way, we stopped and donated soccer balls and volleyballs after playing pick up games with the locals. Indeed, a unique and life-changing experience for all.
